Weds wandering mind

So... I am a network admin for a small remanufacturing co. in Southwest Tenn. *boorah, betcha didn't know that!) and I like, do computer crap all the time. So... why is it I use a Win 98 PC with no updated software at home? Why is it my husband had to beat me over the head with a Dell laptop until I agreed to buy it? WHY did I take him to Apple and let him buy anything he wanted to the tune of 5600.00 of equipment????? Am I nuts or what???

that aint the issue here folks, nope. That is not what this little wandering post is all about. It's about wireless.

Wireless Weds. Yes, that sounds much better.

I went with the hubster to Circuit City last night to acquire a longer monitor cable so he could hook up his Mac (the way expensive one) to the Internet. Why a monitor cable? Well, cuz this old NA didn't want to move the modem, and his monitor cable was too short for him to move his computer out far enough for it to be able to hook to the existing ethernet cable... blah blah blah.

Needless to say, you cannot go into CC into the computer area and not come out with something you didn't plan on purchasing and I didn't either. I decided after much discussion and his agreeing to allow me to share the Mac that we were gonna retire the PC and go all wireless. Boorah! yay for me!! I am effing brilliant some days, and had us up and running wirelessly inside of thirty mins. OMG. I love new technology!!!!
