Whose job is it anyway?

Today is Kindness Tuesday. I always post something about being kind, either to others or to ourselves.

It never occurred to me that such a self-less act like being kind could be difficult! Some people find it hard to do though. They have the "it will get done by someone else" fever.

Just whose job is this kindness thing anyway?

Well, if you are like me, it is your job. It is my job, and it is the job of every human. Why? Because we ARE human. We have to take responsibility for this existence on earth.

The animals have instinct to guide them, and the domesticated ones have HUMANS to look out for them, but taking care of one another cannot be done by anyone else.

It is our job.

So today, embrace your humanness. Go out and find someone in need of a smile and give them yours.

It has been said "you are what you think about the most" -- so focus on being a kind person today.
