Winter is coming

The weather forecast is for a frost warning tonight and I am reminded that we are on the cusp of winter. The vibrant colors of fall fade a little more with each day and soon the trees will be completely leafless and barren.

Having been a winter baby, I sort of like the lull of winter. It is quieter, less hustle and bustle and sometimes a good time to pick up the pen. I have written a lot during the last couple of years, in every season, but I really enjoy the quiet solemn winter time for writing.

I guess this year will be no different. I am working on three projects at the moment and have a fourth in the back of my mind to do.

Isn't that the way it always goes? You don't know what story to work on because there is another one crowding your mind. It's a little like a busy backstage area where the actors are shoved together waiting for their cue to go out on stage.

Hope your weekend is super dooper and you have a lot of fun! Maybe you will see a bit of frost too!
