Did you have a good weekend? I spent much of it in front of the computer watching an online photography workshop. Gee, I learned SO much!!! Now I want to totally revamp my company brand and style. It isn't that I don't like weddings, I do. I love the whole event feel, but they are terribly hard on the body to spend entire days and half of the nights on your feet and moving around at top speed. I want to slow down a little and believe that studio work will accomplish that.
Also this weekend, I spent a lot of time doing things that I don't usually do. I watched a Netflix disk that came in the mail until 2 am on Saturday night! And I shopped at a store that I have NEVER shopped at before, but let me be the first to say, I am going to shop at regularly now.
That store is Dollar General.
Have you been there? It's chock full of good specials. I bought a lot of things that I didn't care about name brand for --like my sweetner for coffee. I bought a generic there, and got it for a real steal! And I got all my paper goods, and toiletry things, even makeup! I was thrilled at the fact that I could load up and keep it low cost. As I write this I wish I had thought to look at tights/nylons. I need some new ones.
I also went to a town a couple hours away and spent time with one of my kids, and it is always fun to just have a meal and catch up.
