It's a WRITING STORM
On the writing side :
I am itching to have time to write. I have this Friday off work! It is the first time in thirty years I am off for Good Friday. Not that it is a well-observed holiday, such as Christmas, but I am thankful to be off nevertheless. My only complaint is that since I still work for the temp service, I won't get paid boo hiss. BUT! I will be able to write like the wind.
The writing is going really well. I have passed the 7000 word mark already, and so that is how I know this book will be a full-throttle, all-the-way-to-the-end sort of thing. I am thinking novel, because the characters have pretty elaborate story lines, but we will see. I thought A Will to Love would be a full-length novel also, and it is more like a novella.
PERSONAL:
The storms in Dallas yesterday has me wanting a storm cellar. I do not care if I have to dig it myself! The storms that we are experiencing now are super storms, and call it global warming, or call it my imagination, but I am afraid of this year. It was a year something like this one where the heat started early and hard, that we had Katrina. I do not live in a hurricane zone but with the size of these storms, what does that matter? I fear for others and myself. The poor southern US would not be able to stand another Katrina. In fact, this country is hurting from SO many disasters that have occurred from the past year as it is. We do not need more.
