Winter has arrived

As is the usual case in the south, we have gotten some ice. We don't get much snow, but freezing rain, sleet, and ice is the norm. So, I got to come home from work early, and take a nap, and work on writing. It's been a great day.

I have a writing prompt for you since the dreary days of winter keep us indoors. (Unless you are in the part of the world that has summer! In which case feel free to skip)

Write a story using these things:

Frozen pond
Ice covered trees
Black woolen coat
Cream colored heavy scarf
Gloves made of leather
And a Bentley
