Tuesday Ruminations

It was a short weekend. The weather was terrible for part of it, forcing me to stay indoors. I made the most of it and visited Panera Bread, for like three hours. I did a lot of editing on Loran Rudder and the Secret Key, but it was more thinking than writing it seems.

Then before I knew it, the weekend was gone.

Today, I went out and bought myself a domain name and am going to be putting up a new website soon. The domain will be kimsmithauthor.com thank goodness. I hated having the old one that no one could find.

I am planning on using Wordpress to build it and it will be a sort of blog-gish one again, and the thought of letting this blog go away is coming at me again. I cannot find time to keep up anything else in the blog realm. I have this one, and then I am a part of Murder by 4 and also, I keep my Bible study journal at Be Mindful of the Word.

Plus my journal and posting at Authors by Design and Facebook (two places there, my page and my author page) and Twitter. Whew. So you can see why the thought of having a website to keep up as a blog is daunting. But I will do it because readers demand it, and it is a much easier place to post book signings, meet and greets, and specials.

I will keep ya posted.

Congrats on having your own domain name, Kim. Please drop me a line when you "move" your blog(s), so I'll know where to find you!
